Originally when God created heaven and earth he said it was good and he gave man dominion over everything on earth. The earth was man’s principal area of governance. When the devil deceived Eve, and Adam sinned, they both gained the consciousness of sin and realized they were naked. Man inherited sin and corruption, lost their dominion over the earth to the devil. They lost the glory of God, but tried to cover themselves with leaves. So great is God’s love that even in that state of spiritual depravity God showed them mercy and made the first sacrifice to cover man with animal skin. The principle of atonement was carried out in that instance. Through the disobedience of one man sin entered the human race.
“Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.” Romans 3:23 AMPC
In order to redeem man back to God, God gave his only begotten son.
“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” John 3:16 AMPC
Only through faith in the provision of God, could mankind be restored and redeemed back to God.
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”Ephesians 2:4-6 KJV
Explaining the Graphic:
Originally there was perfect harmony between heaven and earth but Adam sinned and lost his dominion to the devil. When the first man lost authority to the devil, he assumed the status of spiritual poverty. Man became a slave of sin in that instance, he became a fallen man. The lower circle depicts the hierarchy that man fell into in his fallen state. In his fallen state, man came under the influence of the devil, principalities, powers, rulers and spiritual wickedness.
Prior to this time man was under the influence of God, he was governed by the presence of God. When the last Adam(Jesus) came he restored man to the dignity he had in God.
The arrow shows the translation from the dominion of darkness into the new status provided by God. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Every born again Christian has received a new status in God, a redeemed man.
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”1 Corinthians 15:45 KJV
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” 1 Corinthians 15:47-50 KJV
The redeemed man has inherited incorruption, the fallen man inherited corruption. We are no longer earthy but heavenly because of redemption. We’ve been quickened from death to life and this is our inheritance in Christ. Our new identity in God is heavenly.
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”Colossians 1:13-14 KJV
To operate legally on earth you need a physical body, to operate in the heavenly realm we need a spiritual identity that only Christ could provide by his sacrifice. The access code that we have in the heavenly realms is Jesus Christ who has imputed his likeness in us. We have access through his blood not as a result of works. Christ was the ultimate sacrifice, we have redemption and salvation through his blood. This is our reality in Christ Jesus. The realm we exist in as the redeemed man is connected to God. When we allow this truth to influence us we will begin to align our thoughts and celebrate the provisions God has made available for us in Christ Jesus. We are the God kind of man created in his likeness.
CULTURE YOURSELF IN OBEDIENCE:
It is our responsibility to consistently live our lives in the identity that Christ has given to us. We have responsibilities that we have to adhere to in this new kingdom. We’ve been delivered from the dominion of darkness and translated into the kingdom of his dear sin.
Our new status informs our beliefs, values, actions and every aspect of our life.
Every time the devil succeeds in influencing you to live beneath your new status, he has brought you under the control of his demonic hierarchy. He will always try to entice you to live beneath what God has made you.
Learn to see yourself in your new status and live from the identity that Christ has made available to you. We’ve been delivered from the dominion of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of his dear son. We are seated in heavenly place far above principalities and all dominion.
The Holy Spirit helped me to understand that out of ignorance some believers are assisting demonic powers. Hence it’s very important for us to gain this new consciousness and create the right atmosphere for the ministry of angels.
In ignorance believers come under the governance of their old nature because of their imaginations and thoughts. Our mind is a linkage between our spiritual and natural existence. Our thoughts and imaginations indirectly build structures for either demonic or angelic spirits to occupy.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

The realm of our thoughts needs to be addressed.
Most believers meditate on thoughts that are not in obedience to Christ. Angels are drawn to atmospheres that are customary to their nature. In the same way demons are drawn to atmospheres that are in agreement with their operations. When we neglect our thought life, they can easily become the habitation of demons. However when we are diligent and consistent in bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, we create an atmosphere that is conducive for the ministry of angels. You can create an atmosphere by your thoughts that draws either the influence of angels or demons.
Are your thoughts obedient to Christ ?
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”Genesis 6:5-6 KJV
The emphasis is on the warfare in the mind. The realm of our thoughts and imaginations should not be ignored. We can end up binding demons with our tongue yet our thoughts and imaginations are consistently yielding to the same influence we are trying to bind.

What imaginations and set of ideologies do you hold?
What is your belief system?
Do you have a secular world view or a biblical believer world view?
Are you giving consent to demonic influence?
The word of God teaches us that we are not of this world. We live in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Believers unknowingly excuse themselves from their inheritance in Christ. They’ve allowed the government of devil over their lives, they are not different in results from the fallen man. However in God’s original intent we are delivered from that influence.
When a believer starts getting confused about sexual definitions, it’s a sign that the believer has come under demonic influences. The bible teaches us how we ought to think and engage with the world around us.
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” James 4:4 KJV
When we neglect and despise this truth we disconnect ourselves from the provisions that God has made available to us. In ignorance we can end up denying our identity in God . In most cases because of the fear of man most believers bring themselves under the government of the devil. Your way of life will not differ from that of the fallen man who lives a life dominated by darkness.
The devil will try to convince you in order to corrupt and defile your convictions but resist him. The devil is so deceptive, and he will always try to corrupt the identity God has given you. The truth is we are not of this world and we have been delivered from the influence of the world. There are spiritual and demonic undertones that inform the beliefs, values and ideologies that people live by. Once it is anti the kingdom and will of God, reject it. Don’t over analyze or give excuse for it because if you do, you will bring yourself under demonic government.
We keep binding demons but we yield back because our value system is still informed by the world we live in. We keep yoking ourselves back to the bondage and slavery which God has delivered us from.
When we walk in disobedience and rebellion we bring ourselves under the government of the devil. When we refuse to behave and live like redeemed children of God we bring our lives under the yoke of bondage and oppression. We can’t afford to live like this.
We should desire to cultivate an atmosphere where our thoughts and imaginations are consistent with Christ. The ministry of angels will be evident in our lives because we have created an atmosphere of obedience to the word of God. When a believer cultivates a lifestyle of obedience to the will of God, angels will have access to every area of his/her life making sure that God’s will is made manifest.
It is time we started living like redeemed people, who have been delivered from every dominion of darkness. We need to make every effort to stand firm in the liberty that Christ has accomplished for us. If you have the right attitude to what I’m sharing you will experience new levels of deliverance. Your faith walk with God will become anew, because you are under the right influence and atmosphere.
The scripture teaches us to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God and take into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
In order to start yielding and asking for the influence of angels over the territory, we need to consistently bring all thoughts to the obedience of Christ.
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV
We can only judge disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled. The name of Jesus is too powerful, even demons know the truth and they tremble. We can’t judge disobedience if we are walking in disobedience. We need to learn to build a high place for Jesus in our minds and reject demonic thoughts and imaginations.
Learn to dress your inward man with the identity Christ has accomplished for you.
Let the deliverance start from your mind, it’s time to renew your mind.
“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in YOUR MIND by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:”Colossians 1:21-22 KJV
This was the fallen man not the redeemed man. The blood of Jesus can purge our conscience from dead works so that we can start using our thoughts and imaginations to build strong holds for angels. We can have thoughts and imaginations that have been purged and refined by the blood of Jesus so we can think the will of God. When you live by this truth demons will find it difficult to dwell in your mind.
Negative imaginations and thoughts build habitations for demons. Your mind becomes a safe haven for demons. It’s time to flush out every demonic stronghold that we’ve built in through thoughts and imaginations so our mind can be governed by the Holy Spirit.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20 KJV
God is concerned about our thoughts.
In Genesis 6:5-6 God was displeased with humans because of the wicked thoughts and imaginations in their mind. We can not take authority over the land and destroy wicked and demonic altars when we have yielded our minds to be used as instrument of wickedness. The very elect can fall into the trap of deception without knowing and give consent to demonic operations. All the works of the flesh empower demonic strongholds in our lives. We can’t afford to be ignorant of these truths.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21 KJV
By the power of the Holy Spirit we shall gain victory in our minds.
